Design of our Bird Nesting boxes

Our Bird nesting box idea was born from a passion of bird breeding. From an early age I always had an interest in breeding finches. I was always looking at different nests and nesting materials to encourage my birds to breed.

In the early days my collection started off with a few simple finches including Zebra, Star and Java Sparrows. Later as my experience increased, I added other finches to the collection including the Gouldian Finch, Red Faced Parrot finches and Diamond Firetails.

These nesting boxes have been designed to suit a wide range foreign and Australian finches and small parrots.

Safe and protected for Bird Breeding

Aviary and wild birds are always looking for safe places to build their nests and breed. Unfortunately with hollow logs becoming more scare wood becoming more expensive and limited scrap wood to make nesting boxes the new high density foam nesting box is a good solution.

Environmentally Friendly

They are made from an environmentally friendly high density polyethylene.

Parrots and budgies will chew around the entrance hole changing the shape to suit their requirements. The addition of our wood shavings will then make a perfect base to lay eggs and raise babies.

Easy to Clean

These nesting boxes are easy to clean after the birds have left the nest ready for the next breeding season.

Being a light weight box they are easy to hang in your aviary or in your favourite garden tree encouraging birds to breed.

Transporting Birds in a Carry Box

Transporting your birds from aviary to the next destination is a very important process. When moving birds they always require seed and water since the travel can be many hours.

Our bird carry cages are a good replacement to the second hand shoe box most people use.

These cages include a small water bowl, safety foam to stop birds escaping and air vented sides. These are a handy addition when buying birds especially bird sales.
