Description
Our Gouldian Finch nesting box with porch has been designed for two reasons. The male Gouldian Finch can often enter other pairs nests where he is not wanted and disturb the eggs or young. The entrance porch restricts this easy nest entry.
Another reason is to keep the babies in the nest and stop them leaving too early and getting cold on the aviary floor.
